Mitch Laddie ist ein neues junges Blues Talent aus England, Heimat des Blues Rocks! This Time Around ist ein fantastisches Debütalbum eines gerade 19-jährigen Gitarristen! Mit seinen gerade mal 19 Jahren birgt Mitch ein unglaubliches Potential. 2006 wurde Mitch Laddie bei einem Festival in England von Walter Trout entdeckt. Laddie spielte einige Konzerte mit Trout und so wurde Provogue auch zum ersten Mal auf ihn aufmerksam. Laddie überzeugt nicht nur durch sein eindrucksvolles Gitarrenspiel, seine wahre Waffe ist seine Stimme! Their sound has now evolved into a blend of Blues Rock, Funk, Prog, Jazz and Fusion, drawing influence from bands and artists such as: The Jimi Hendrix Experience, S.R.V, Cream, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Parliament – Funkadelic, Prince, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Buckley, Greg Howe, Allan Holdsworth, Robben Ford, Frank Zappa, Free, Primus, The Roots, Bob Marley and anything that has the funk. Much of the last year was spent on rehearsing and writing new material. After performing their new material at several gigs including the Colne Great British R&B Festival, the trio received rave reviews from various media sources. March 29 2010 will see the release of his debut album on Provogue Records “This Time Around”. With this first full studio album record Mitch Laddie will put himself on the map alongside great artists such as Joe Bonamassa and Walter Trout. Mitch shows remarkable maturity in his playing. Vicious yet very soulful and bluesy. Laddie will tour the UK and Europe around August/ September.
