"I believe That Al stone is one of the best artists/entertainers on the circuit today. Blues, Rock or Swamp Boogie whatever you call it, it is extremely difficult to pigeon hole his work. Hailing from Chicago and now living in Jacksonville, Florida one can hear both regional influences in his music. I first saw Al at an Electro Glide Records Showcase. This guy is a true artist in every sense of the word. I had a chance to do an interview via email and here it is. "How is the biz treating you right now? Well I was recently inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and was designated “Blues Ambassador” for Jacksonville, Fl.. I also received a certificate as “Artist of the Month”, by Melodic Revolution a company that I donated one of my songs to for a Haiti’s relief fund a charity CD. I am receiving good reviews, and radio features, with my release “I Want It All“ on my new record label, Electro Glide Records. What more can a Blues Player ask for?" ~Terry "Gatorman" Lape Quelle: Amazon.com
